The Nutshell Version
I can’t decide if I’m a musician who writes code or a developer who writes music. Seeing how I’ve written more lines of code than I’ll ever write in music, I guess I’m the latter.
My first website was a digital version of my senior exit portfolio in high school. It wasn’t until 2006 when I was hired as a junior developer that I started developing full-time. My first server side language was ColdFusion but then I discovered the simplicity of WordPress and began teaching myself PHP. I discovered Ruby on Rails in 2007 and have been using it ever since. Today, I use WordPress for websites/blogs and Ruby on Rails for complex web applications. Over the past year and a half I’ve been diving deeper and deeper into iOS development.
I’ve been writing music since 1996 when my dad bought me an acoustic guitar for my birthday. Since, then I’ve been obsessed with songwriting and studio recording. Perth Amboy is the name of my one-man-band and you can download free music from The Perth Amboy Podcast.

You’re probably wondering how to pronounce my name. Let’s see if adding a few extra letters helps. LeeHigh. Better? Great!.
It’s a religious name, in case you were wondering. Named after a prophet who, while living in Jerusalem 600 years before Christ, received a vision from the Lord to take his family and leave before the great city was destroyed. Lehi and his family, along with a few others, left Jerusalem and journeyed to the American continents where they would would become the progenitors of ancient civilizations like the Mayans, Incas and Aztecs.
